From Rock Falls Illinois, Kyle E. Davis is currently a promising student perusing a Ph.D. in American politics and political psychology at The Ohio State University. He hopes to one day better explain public opinion and how people participate (and for whom they participate) in politics.
Kyle has spoke at multiple political science research conferences on the topic of college student’s civic engagement. Moving forward, Kyle is interested in political methodology, both quantitative and qualitative, and political psychology. Kyle believes in a holistic approach to research, by solving complex qualitative puzzles with appropriate quantitative and psychological instruments.
In 2013 Kyle Davis quickly became more and more fascinated about the field of political science, ultimately graduating with an M.A. in American Politics at Western Illinois University. Since, he has studied statistical software such as ‘R’ and has gotten hands-on polling and data analysis experience to better quantify the political world around us. In his blogs, Kyle likes to include hard data with the some of the topics he discusses with the goal to communicate political puzzles to a wide audience.
